Great experience, Jack made special accommodations and took me in on a Sunday evening for the transfer. Smooth transaction, very easy to talk with and took some more time to discuss bullet ballistics. Overall, blown away with the customer service, fast response from emails. Transfer fee is $20.00 and a $2.00 fee for Virginia State Police background check

This was hands down THE best purchasing experience I have had. JC Firearms is an outstanding FFL and I strongly recommend anyone in the Stafford, VA or Fredericksburg, VA area to go here. You actually get to sit down and talk with someone who knows the laws, mechanics, and other little ins and outs of firearms without having to wait in a line or feel rushed. It is a great one on one experience and he is HONEST. Definitely will be going back to JC Firearms to purchase a suppressor. Again, outstanding service. Another great transaction from JC Firearms. This is the second time I have purchased a firearm from Buds and had it sent to JC Firearms. Jack emailed me as soon as my item arrived and I was there that same evening to pick it up. He is always helpful throughout the process and very knowledgeable. Yet another great transaction between myself, Bud's and my FFL. Bud's ships quickly, and my FFL calls to arrange pickup within a couple hours of my gun being delivered. If you live in the Stafford / Fredericksburg area, I really encourage you to give Jack at JC Firearms a try. If you want to build a custom gun within a budget or get sights installed or some custom gun work done, he can help with all of that. The price is more than reasonable and the service is excellent. I wont go anywhere else for an FFL transfer.

I had a very smooth and seamless transfer from JC Firearms. The Transfer fee is $20 and there is the additional $2 mandatory state fee. If you buy an additional firearm at the same time then the additional fee is only $10. I was notified quickly after delivery that my transfer was ready for pickup. He took his time to assure I was comfortable with the process and that I had everything I needed. He didn't mind talking with me about my purchase and answering any questions that I may have had. 27 Jan 2013: Transfer Fee $25.00, $2.00 State Charge for the first gun, $20.00 Fee for the second handgun. JC Firearms made the online order very simple. They called the day the guns arrived at their shop and I was able to pick them up that evening. Friendly, helpful, and provided a little extra in advice (cleaning / care / etc.). I have already recommended them to my friends and I will absolutely use them again. Highly recommended.

This is the first firearm I have ever purchased and I have to say, my experience with Buds Gun Shop and the FFL I chose was an excellent one! Jack, at J C Firearms was very easy to communicate with throughout the waiting process of my gun. He was very quick to reply to all of my inquisitions. I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived to pick up my gun as far as paperwork and background checks. Everything was set up upon my arrival for a quick and easy transaction. When I got the phone call that my gun had arrived, he was very good about making sure I came prepared with the proper credentials and documentation. I could not have asked for a better experience considering this is the first time I have ever purchased a firearm. To top it off...I received a quick lesson in ballistics which included videos and what appeared to be many hours of research on his part. I will definitely be returning to J C Firearms for future transactions. If you are fairly new to this as I am, I guarantee you will leave his place with more knowledge then you came with. If you are ordering a weapon, use J.C. Firearms!!!!!!! I'm active duty military and wish I could move them with me when I transfer. Prices are great, very knowledgeable and very friendly. They have Flexible hours and trustworthy. I wouldn't use someone else even if they raised their prices for transfer.

Another easy transaction with JC Firearms. I usually keep an eye on my gun's tracking progress through UPS, and JC always gives me a call withina few hours of delivery to set up an appointment. You can expect great service and support from this FFL! Highly recommend for transfers and support for your guns after the sale.

Jack has taken care of all my gun transfers very efficiently and quickly. His attention to detail is greatly appreciated since some other dealers are not following the letter of the law. Jack takes care of all the details and triple checks everything so there won't be any issues with the ATF. Using JC Firearms make everything very easy for the buyer. Beside all of this Jack is an extremely knowledgeable and loves to learn from his customers too. If all that was not enough he is very polite and easy to get along with. I will be going through JC Firearms from here on out. Knowledgeable, fast, and above all CHEAP. He is also a Class III dealer now so I look forward to working with him when I decide to go that route. JC Firearms has the lowest transfer fee in the area from my experience.

Another easy transaction with JC Firearms. I ordered from Buds late Friday night, my gun shipped the following Tuesday and I picked it up from my FFL Friday evening. I recommend JC Firearms as the cost for the transfer is very reasonable and he is very knowledgable regarding weapons and ammo. If you live in the 22556 area give him your business, you wont be disappointed.

JC Firearms made this a truly easy transaction. I was notified immediately upon delivery of my purchase, and the owner took almost an hour of his own time to sit down and talk with me about ammo selection and other questions I had. Buds service was great, and JC Firearms carried that same degree of excellent customer service through to the end of my transaction.
